9 of the Best Halloween Decor for 2024…

#1. Pumpkins Everywhere!

The best thing about pumpkin decor is that it really sets up the Halloween mood, but is also a very fall look. While the Jack-O-Lanterns and skeletons may come down after October 31st. Your different sizes and textures of pumpkin decor can stay up throughout the rest of the Fall season. Pumpkin decor can be fun to shop for because you can find so many different styles of pumpkins from so many places. Target, walmart, and Micheals have deals on pumpkin decor, but a pro tip is checking out Dollar Tree. In recent years Dollar Tree has had some pretty high-end looking pumpkins. This year I picked up some burnt orange and deep sage green pumpkins with a velvety texture. As well as some really cute fabric pumpkins in a plaid pattern.

Some easy and different ways I decorated with my pumpkin finds this year was adding them to my table centerpiece. I already have flameless candles of different sizes, and some greenery placed across my burlap style table runner. Adding in my different pumpkin finds was an easy way to incorporate the fall season and works great for Halloween. I will also be able to continue to incorporate them until after Thanksgiving. Then I will transition my centerpiece to a more Christmas theme and then back to its previous state. such an easy way to change it up without the hassle of completely redecorating every inch of my home each season.

another way I decorate with pumpkins is adding them throughout my living spaces. I put some on my floating shelves and put some in a decorative bowl in my entryway. You can place them by your favorite candle on your coffee table or on the kitchen counter. The possibilities are endless!

#2. Sticky Bats for Dayzz!

Sticky bats are probably the easiest to decorate with. They are so simple but scream Halloween and if you are a lazy decorator, you could probably pass the Halloween decor test with only sticking bats up for the season. we’ll allow it! *Insert winky face*

If you have no idea what these sticky bats are, they are a cheap and easy disposable decoration. They are small bat silhouettes that simply stick onto the wall or other smooth surfaces. I’ll leave a link here to easily explore this decor option: Amazon.com: 100PCS Halloween 3D Bats Wall Decoration

Fun places to stick these bats is over a mantel or up the stairwell.

#3. Cobwebs on Everything!

Another easy option to spook up your home is including cobwebs into your Halloween plans. Cobwebs are truly timeless. There are lots of places and ways to utilize this decor option. I’ll share with you my personal favorite way to decorate with them. I put them thinly across all of my hanging artwork and photos. This is the best way to make any style of artwork you currently have up into a Halloween decoration without having to replace anything or move things around.

#4. Easy Throw Pillow Switch-ups!

So far you may be noticing a theme to my decorating advice. I am a fan of making seasonal decor just that- seasonal. Which means I want a lot of my decor to be as temporary and easily switched out as possible. Otherwise, we all just end up with a big bulk of decorations that spend time in storage most of the year. no one got space for that! So here is my tip for seasonal throw pillows, because yes, we absolutely need Halloween throw pillows! Just buy Throw pillow covers for each season that fit the size of your everyday throw pillows. Yes, we also need our everyday throw pillows. Throw pillows are a basic human need. At least for this girl they are.

#5. Simple Hand Towel Changes!

Hand towels don’t take a lot of storage space in the linen closet so I love having a few options of these to go in bathrooms and in the kitchen. A really easy way to halloween-up your other spaces that may be getting skipped a bit for seasonal decor. It’s a simple but fun and impactful change-up.

#6. Spooky Welcome mats!

Decorating The front doorway of your home is a must! Especially for those cute trick-r-treaters and Halloween party guests. Of course, I’m coming in hot with the practical hacks again with this design. Layering welcome mats is a beautiful pro design tip. What’s great is that you can have a large solid color or patterned mat that you can use year-round and then get a smaller mat to layer on top. In this case a Halloween doormat.

#7. Always a Witchy Wreath!

I am currently addicted to making seasonal wreaths. Seriously, just addicted! So, I’m sure I will have a wreath making blog post coming soon. Check back into my blog for that: Well-Rounded Woman PNW . Anyway, you need a Halloween or fall wreath, or both. No front door is complete without one. Enough said.

#8. All the Fall Scents!

I am obsessed with Bath and Body Works! They are my go-to seasonal scent store. If you know me, you know Bath and Body Works is the best place for gift shopping for me. I love fall candles! Fall isn’t just the decor you see, it’s a feeling, it’s a mood, it’s a vibe!

Your seasonal scents do not just have to be Candles, though. They can be air fresheners, foamy hand soaps, scented pinecones. I’ve recently heard about Home Depot selling scented broom sticks which would be very cute to decorate a front porch or front entry with. It’s whatever works for your lifestyle but still gives you the fall feels.

My favorite fall scents are apple cider, apple pumpkin, spiced pumpkin, even coffee scents. Bath and body works even has Halloween themed candles you could try out.

#9. Vibe Lighting

This may possibly be my favorite decor idea on this list. I am a mood lighing kind of girl. We are all used to christmas having all of the fun when it comes to lights and decorating. But, not in my home! I go all out with lighting in my home for Halloween. I have pumpking string lights, inside Jack’O’Lanterns that light up, flameless candles of different varieties, string lights and decor that look like orange candle flames. My Halloween decor looks great during the day, but is a total spooky vibe at night or on a cloudy, rainy day. When I’m inside with all of my decor out and soft orange lights on watching a horror movie or making slow-cooker meals, soups and casseroles, I feel like a witch in the cottage brewing up something extra special this 2024 holiday season.

So, there you have it! That was 9 of the Best Halloween decor for 2024. Do you already have these decor pieces up in your home?
